Redington Sunset

I can't tell you how many times I have decided to hang around for a storm to pass through, and then been absolutely blown away by the sunset afterwards. This photo was no different.

This was an incredibly fast moving storm which very efficiently soaked everything. There was so much wind, there really wasn't anywhere I could stash my gear to keep it dry. So, this particular storm required a dash from the end of the pier to the car with my camera bag. I was soaked, but I managed to keep most of my stuff relatively dry.

Within 25 minutes of that storm. This is what I got to see. :-) It was worth it. I also lost exactly ONE flip flop that night. I won't lie, I'd rather lose both flipflops than just lose one. Losing one just makes you feel dumb the whole way home which you walk crooked. (Yes, I did wear my ONE flipflop home.)
