An old tree sits on the edge of Tampa Bay on a stormy summer night in Florida
This was taken on a still and rainy morning in Valdez, Alaska. I was there with a couple of other landscape photographers while waiting for some decent light on the local mountain ranges. We decided to explore some of the areas nearby and this scene caught my eye. I love the simplicity and atmosphere. I also love the barely visible mountains in the background. Enjoy!
This is a 1 minute long exposure which was taken off of the Seward Highway overlooking Turnagain Arm just outside of Anchorage, AK. The area was gorgeous but our drive was mostly shrouded in definition-less grey clouds and dreary colors. Then, the wind kicked up and the clouds began to move and show shape. The second the wind began to move, this scene came alive!
